DancePartner.com was developed by Silicon Valley entrepreneur, and incurable dance addict, Ken Greer. After selling his software company, Élan Computer Group, which we founded and ran for 15 years, Ken now devotes most of his time towards his other passions - dance and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Ken has also developed and maintains:

• DanceSpots Network - world-wide directory of places to dance and dance teachers
• VeggieConnection.com - A dating/friend-finder site for vegetarians. (Ken has been a vegetarian for most of his adult life.)

Ken lives in the San Francisco Bay area and has been an avid social dancer and amateur dance competitor for over 15 years. Ken competed for many years in West Coast Swing, but swing fever has been largely replaced by Ballroom for the past 8 years. Ken's dance experience includes International Standard, International Latin, American Smooth, American Rhythm, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Country/Western, Salsa, and Hustle.

Ken currently competes at the amateur Pre-Championship and Championship levels in International Standard Ballroom.

Ken is very active in the San Francisco Bay Area promoting dance and has sponsored numerous fundraisers at his home for other dancers, dance groups, and charities including the Leukemia Research Foundation and Cancer Research Institute.

Ken is a volunteer board member of:

• USA Dance Northern California chapter, helping to promote social and competitive dancing, and
• sjDANCEco, a non-profit group promoting all dance forms in Northern California.
