I am a white collar professional and dancing is my therapy. I have been at this hobby for about 20 years and it is always a challenge to find partners, be they for practice, social dancing or competition. My dance life revolves around lessons and practice. I have competed and done well but for me dancing is about connecting with people, showing off the woman and being generous with one's energy. If you are in dance for ego-centric or narcissistic reasons, move on to the next profile. It is so essential that as partners we enjoy each other as human beings. I often go to "dance camps" and enjoy traveling around the country sampling different communities and dance styles. My training is in American and I do both the smooth and the rhythm. I am always eager to add another friend to my dance card, even if we meet only to dance socially and have fun. The Columbus dance world is small and it helps to know and enjoy those people who share one's passion.
