My favorite dances are VIENNESE WALTZ and QUICK STEP. Also love Merengue, Fox Trot, Salsa, Cha Cha, Charleston, East Coast Swing. Like American and International Tango. Eager to learn Lindy and aerials!
I hope to compete. As a danceaholic I’m looking for a dance partner--no, not to dance through life with happily ever after, LOL. Seriously, a dance partner: someone who's willing to learn to dance or already knows how. If he turns out to be "the one", so much the better, but those things happen by themselves, naturally, without any effort.
I have dual careers: one intellectual and one artistic. I have an advanced university degree. I've worked in 43 countries and 34 states. Am working on a Ph.D. on a catch-as-catch-can basis/ Adore schmaltzy songs from the 1930s and 40s such as “DANCING CHEEK TO CHEEK”, “AT LAST” and “MY HEART STOOD STILL”.
I also enjoy dancing traditional dances to wild, contemporary music such as "DYNAMITE" by Taio Cruz, "BRING ME A HIGHER LOVE" by Steve Winwood, and "HOT HOT HOT" by Buster Poindexter.
I'm Looking For
Because I would like to be able to converse with my dance partner instead of dancing with a deaf-mute or sitting and simpering like a simian at a table in between dances, I hope to share good times with an intelligent, educated, cultured man who has a good sense of humor.
