More About Me
I have been dancing since I was 16, mainly Country Western (Two-Step, East Coast, West Coast, Chacha, Line Dancing, etc.), and actually teach a class in Gainesville Florida.
Dancing has been a love of mine for many years, but I set it aside to get married and start a family. Now that I am no longer living the married life I am looking to get back to dancing, but apply myself seriously this time 'round.
My Dance Partner of many years will be moving soon, so I am looking (with her blessing and knowledge) for a new partner.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone who wants to take their West Coast Swing to a higher level. I would like to start taking private lessons and work towards a competition or two a year. Someone willing to put in a few hours of practice a week (besides some fun social dancing on the weekends).
That being said, I do have a 3 year old, so going out more than a few times a week can be a challenge. So a lot of that practicing would be in the kithcen ;-)
I would like someone that has a reasonable amount of experience, or has a dance background. I am really only a talented amatuer myself, but lead strongly and stylize such that I am often mistaken for a more accomplished dancer.
But I also really like to have fun when I am dancing, and it is one of the things that I truly enjoy. So I wouldn't want to take it TOO seriously! ;-)
