I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My favorite style of dance is Fusion, which is an improvised partner dance that allows you to combine different elements from other dance styles.

Started salsa dancing 20 years ago. Been on a few dance teams in LA intermediate level. Last few years not so active but I'm ready to start partner dancing regularly and taking it up a notch. I would like to work on choreography, cleaning up technique, practicing, and lots of fun on the dance floor. I have been so set on only dancing on 1 but willing to open up to dancing on 2. I'm also interested in improving bachata. I do not commute much so need to be closer to Napa.

I've practiced Ballet for almost 15 years, then I discovered social dancing and I fell in love with it. I started with Salsa and Bachata, then Swing and finally ended up taking ballroom/dancesport training classes 4 years ago.

I have started balroom dancing when I was 6 years old and have finished before 17. After long brake I would like to come back to dancing so Im looking for a partner. I use to be a very good dancer with experience in around 50 competitions in Poland, Germany or Canada.

I took up ballroom dancing around 8 years ago, and had a regular partner for around 4 years.

For most of this time I've had weekly lessons at a local dance school in Kendal during which I worked towards the medal examinations each year. In 2016 I achieved gold in Ballroom and silver in Argentine Tango, and in 2017 gold in Latin and gold in Argentine Tango.

I also go to whatever other classes are available, Argentine Tango about twice a month with the odd workshop, also occasional salsa classes and modern jive. I enjoy the discipline of ballroom and latin dances, and the freedom and expression of the Argentine Tango. I enjoy interpreting music in movement and when the music is playing I never seem to tire and will be on the floor all night.

After this my dance school closed and I have a lot less opportunities for dancing. I am therefore considering travelling further afield. The Blackpool Tower is just over an hour's drive and would be a good location for potential try-outs.

Training 4 days a week and going out for dancing in the evening to Milongas (of which we have plenty possibilities in Vienna every day) or Latino dancing places.

I have danced competitively for three years with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team and have competed last in Standard pre-champ and Latin Gold. In addition, I occasionally have done pick-up Smooth on the Silver. Due to job related relocations, I was not able to dance for years, but am now back on the floor. I enjoy practicing, competing, and improving. Next to focusing on technique, I like to work on the character of each dance.

I’m currently a member of a Latin formation team. In the past, I have competed, to quite a high standar, in Senior Ballroom & Latin. I enjoy lessons, practice & competing.

I really like dancing, modern jive, swing jive and ballroom. Would like to dance twice a week.

I used to dance in my youth and have come back to dancing about two years ago. My objective is to complete in medallist events and eventually graduate to open circuit. I am training at Rubies with Neil Eleazar in Egham and would like the partner to join me at the school although I am happy to train with other coaches in parallel. I am a stronger ballroom dancer but my objective is to bring latin to the same level. I currently do 1 group practice plus two private session a week which would be shared. Winning medallist of the year final at Blackpool would be the ultimate goal.

Used to tap, jazz, acrobatic and ballet as a kid for many years. Took ballroom professional lessons 8 years ago. Still dance on occasion seeking a partner to dance more regularly.

I have about eight years experience of ballet dancing, and have been training and learning the ballroom dance style for the past two years. Beginning in January of 2016, I become a dance professional and instructor. I love performing and teaching, I am a highly ambitious and dedicated person. My goals are to get as far as I can competing and become the best dancer, teacher, and future coach possible. I believe in myself to achieve these things.

I have over 12 years of tap and jazz experience. I took several ballroom classes throughout college, enjoyed every bit of it and tested at the gold level. Competed a couple times and placed. I'm interested in getting back in to.

I mainly dance Cuban Salsa. Started dancing about 10 years ago but throughout the years I have been dancing on and off. Some years I did dance up to 4-5days a week (once a week rueda de casino practice with a group) and some years just once in a while.

I did never take dancing lessons at a studio, so I honestly do not know which level I am at. I would guess though Intermediate when it comes to Salsa (Cuban & LA Style). Bachata (beginner-intermediate)and Kizomba (basics-beginner) . Did do learning by doing so far but I wouldn't mind taking classes.

Salsa dancing is my "happy place". Play some music and I won't be able to srand still.

Because to Covid I have not been dancing for the past years and would like to start again.

Salsa makes me truly happy. I would like to get back into it and would like to learn more and improve.

So, who says that a woman can't find a man who really loves to dance? Here I am! If there is a woman out there who is seeking a dedicated social dance partner with determination to advance, then look no further! To excel at any one endeavor, I feel like you have to specialize and dance is what I've chosen for that purpose. While always striving to keep dancing fun, I do take it seriously and I have the ambition to work at being the best that I can be. I believe that a serious dancer progresses better and more rapidly by having a steady partner. In addition to my motivation and enthusiasm, it is my appreciation for and my loyalty and devotion to my partner and the way that I express it that sets me apart from others. While I am confident that I'm a good social dancer right now, I know that I still have a long ways to go. I've been dancing a long time, but I still want to learn and I am willing to practice. I'm particularly interested in doing more with west coast swing, hustle and salsa/mambo. I am open to learning new dances. It would be wonderful to find someone who can put a lot of time into dance, but I don't have specific requirements about any set amount of days or hours per week. I'm flexible in terms of whether I am either the more experienced dancer or at a lesser skill level than my partner (I am receptive to being coached/trained if my partner has the background and interest in doing so). When not dancing, I enjoy roller coasters, water slides, going to sporting events and playing pickleball. Being retired, I'd like to go on cruises with a companion, particularly cruises that include social dancing .Please note that I'm not a paid up full member, so I can't respond to greetings.
