More About Me
Salsa, Bachata and Cha Cha are my main area of focus for almost 7 years. I started dancing Salsa on1 with Jimmy Rumba from Los Rumberos and moved to training in on2 with Proyecto Barrio Dance Company, both in Atlanta. I trained with the student team before spending several years traveling and performing with the Semi-pro team. During that time I also trained and performed with a number of Latin teams including Los Bachateros/Bachata Soul, Maria Voisin Dancers, and Bachatamante/Amante Dance Company as well as my own choreographies and intensive dance challenges. Over the years I have taken numerous private lessons and workshops with renown local and world class instructors including Afrocuban and Folkloric. In addition, I've taken classes in practically every style of ballroom, swing, Latin and even Argentine Tango though I've mainly focused on Waltz.
I'm Looking For
I'm in search of a Latin dance partner with an ability to follow, perform multiple spins and good body movement or a high level of desire to excel in these areas combined with several years of dedication to dance. This partner need not be an instructor, or choreographer. Preferred areas of concentration would be Salsa, Mambo (on2), Cha Cha, Bachata, Afrocuban and Folkoric. This would be performance purposes not competition to create highly musical and complex choreography which may involve lifts and tricks.
