Will trade the routines I know for some new steps and practice. Nothing too crazy, but beginner/intermediate steps, samba waltz cha cha tango. I don't remember jive or quickstep but those might come back to me with a little work.

My mother loved Ella Fitzgerald so when I'm in her belly she's listening to that music and when I come out of the womb I've got rhythm now I got rhythm I got Ella's rhythm.

Currently, I am a member of a social dance club in Little Rock but I have found that I do more sitting than dancing at the club. Partners do dance with singular dancers at this club; so, my "dance card" would be fuller, if I had a partner. I prefer the smooth dances but am very much wanting to improve my West Coast Swing. When I have the time and money, I do take group lessons, but I have been wanting to take lessons with a professional instructor to improve my technique. One of my bucket list items is to perform in at least one amateur or pro-am exhibition in my area. There is an exhibition coming up in September 2026 called the Arkansas Classic.
