Ken lives in the San Francisco Bay area and has been an avid social dancer and dance competitor for over 20 years, and dance instructor for 6 years. Ken's dance experience includes International Standard, International Latin, American Smooth, American Rhythm, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Argentine Tango, Country/Western, Salsa, and Hustle. He was spotted doing a polka once.
Ken currently competes at the Championship level in International Standard Ballroom. Ken and his wife Sheana also teach the ballroom Social Dance series at Stanford University.
Ken is very active in the San Francisco Bay Area promoting dance and has sponsored numerous fund-raisers at his home for other dancers, dance groups, and charities including the Leukemia Research Foundation and Cancer Research Institute.
Ken is a former board member of USA Dance, Northern California chapter, which promotes social and competitive dancing in Northern California.
