More About Me
I have been dancing on and off for most of my life. Unfortunately, I didn't discover ballroom until college, but I immediately fell in love with it. I joined my university's ballroom team and competed and taught classes with them for four years. I have spent a lot of my time in ballroom teaching and working with others, but now I would like to focus on myself and develop my own skills.
I am currently back in school at Rutgers (this time for a degree in dance education), and whilst I love and enjoy my dance classes, I deeply miss ballroom. I freely admit that I am not the best and have a long way to go, but I work hard and learn fast. There is nothing I would love to do more than just dance. **cue David Bowie song**
I'm Looking For
I am looking for a partner with whom to practice and compete and who will challenge me and push me to be the best that I can be. At this point in time I am focusing on Smooth and Rhythm as I would like to return to collegiate/amateur competitions, but I am open to doing International style in addition to American 9 dance.
