More About Me
16 years ago, while attending UVSC, I danced 8 hours per day! I loved it with a passion. I was on the Ballroom Dance Touring Team (Standard), competed International Standard with my partner, and took every ballroom dance class I could (Standard, American, and Latin)! I especially loved dancing the international standard dances (Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, and Viennese Waltz), as well as West Coast Swing, Triple (or East Coast) Swing, Cha-Cha, Polka, American Foxtrot, American Waltz, and Two-Step. On the side, I had fun with Country Swing. ;) I really enjoyed the technical aspect of the dances, and loved being as good as I could! Dancing was also thrilling and fun!! I got married shortly after our team competed in Blackpool, England, and began life as a wife and mother. Now I have four sons (aged 16 to 5), and have gotten back into dancing during the past two years! I've taught Social Dance to 7th-10th Graders for the past two years. My husband dances only a bit (what I've taught him), & is supportive of me finding a dance partner so that I can REALLY dance again. :)
I love being a mom, and taking care of my children. Dance is also a passion of mine (my favorite way to exercise!), and I would love to dance once per week for 2 hours with a dance partner, with the intent that we learn something to perform for others.
I'm Looking For
I'm in search of a man who loves to dance, and is good at it! I'd enjoy performing for church, civic, or family groups, though the most important thing is to get exercise while having a great time dancing! I love how "good music" is invigorating to the body and soul! I want to have the goal of having fun while improving ourselves; then sharing our talents with others.
