More About Me
I love to dance, as well as read, keeping up with politics, and learning in general. I'm not really looking for a romantic relationship, as I've had many, and don't really need another. I love my four cats, and, on a less personal level, my students (I'm a college prof).
My favorite dances are Latin, especially rumba, cha cha, and salsa. I'd really like to learn the Argentine Tango, but that is quite an endeavor, I realize. Basically, I'd like someone with whom to practice, and occasionally go to dance clubs with.
I took lessons for 2-3 years in the 90's, and more recently (around 2002-2004) in Ardmore at the Academy of Social Dance, so I know the steps (or once did!) I'm just a bit rusty, but quite motivated to get out there and dance!
I'm Looking For
Someone who is a reasonably proficient dancer, actually, a pretty good dancer, would be my preference. Gay, straight doesn't matter, but being married might be a challenge (for you, perhaps). I want someone with whom to dance, someone who can move well, understands rhythym, and is at least 5'8" tall. A good sense of humor is also a plus! Dancing can be trying . . . :-)
