More About Me
Ballroom dancing has been my favourite hobby since I competed at student level in the UK. Due to work pressure and lack of appropriate partners I have taken a break of a few years but am back to ballroom and latin american dancing and loving it!
My aim is to compete at senior 1 or 2 level, in Germany and Denmark (and beyond if the opportunity arises). In addition to practice with a regular partner I take extra lessons with professional dancers and am really keen to continue as (ballroom) dancing only gets better the more you know about it! I dance both standard and latin at the moment and but my focus is clearly on standard.
I train about 6 times a week (2 x pilates, free training, lessons, partner practice and physical fitness). I currently live in Copenhagen but am happy to re-locate as a new professional challenge would also be welcome. Would love to hear from others passionate about ballroom dancing!
I'm Looking For
A dance partner who really enjoys dancing and has at the minimum 6 - 8 years dance experience and is technically competent. You would want to practice 3-4 times a week (or more) and would be willing to take lessons with professionals and enter competitions in Germany and Denmark (or elsewhere). I like to give my best on the dance floor and enjoy competitions but dancing should always be fun in my view.
Otherwise no specific expectations - the try-out will show whether we are compatible!
