More About Me
Mature gentleman interested in learning Latin dances such as salsa, merengue. tango and bachata. I have always been envious of men who are able to dance well at social events and clubs. My lack of dancing ability has confined me to watching from the side-lines. I would like to become proficient and confident on the dance floor.
I'm Looking For
A partner with a nice and agreeable presence and personality that has a lot of patience and is looking for an equally agreeable Latin dance practice partner. I am presently taking Latin dance courses at level 1 in Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. I would also be open to taking courses in Cha Cha and/or Tango. I am still a beginner with two left feet and little natural sense of the Latin rhythms but I am determined to overcome these handicaps and willing to put in the time and effort to do so. Latin dance is fun, good exercise and when done well, it really does look great on the dance floor.
I am told by my dance instructors that the key to success is hours of practice outside of dance courses. I have faith they are right, but I lack a regular practice partner and I have not been successful in recruiting anyone from my circle of acquaintances. I am available for evening practices most days during the week, and possibly during the day. I am open to taking classes with my future dance partner, but require a commitment to practicing together a couple of hours once or twice a week.
