More About Me
I live in the LA area and I am currently dancing Salsa and Latin and some Ballroom. I love LA style Salsa and most other Latin dances except Tango (not there yet but I would like to eventually learn Argentine).
I have danced Salsa 6+ years, but not consistently. I want to start learning on a more serious basis....so come on and lets Salsa.
I am available 2-3 days a week for practice. I am on an intermediate level in Salsa and I find it very hard to remember and learn without a dance partner. I am just looking for a practice partner, so I am not concern about looks, age, etc. I need to find someone who just wants to dance.
I would like to practice Social Ballroom (West Coast Swing right now)and Argentine Tango (will be new for me). I have taken basic lessons in the past, but I don't remember some of the steps. It will come back very quickly. I do want to learn and get to a level where I feel comfortable on the dance floor with anyone on all levels. That is my goal.
My time is flexible. LA Salsa is a style created here in LA.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for a female Salsa partner that I can practice with a couple of times a week to learn several more moves.
I would also like to learn social Ballroom and Argentine Tango. I can do some of the basic moves in Social Ballroom, but I would like to expand and learn more. I am also very interested in finding a partner that would like to learn Argentine Tango.
I am not looking for one person to do all the dances with, so if you are interested in any of the styles mentioned above, that is fine.
