More About Me
Getting back into the (West/East Coast) swing of things! After early retirement from my professional life, I can now focus on my most favorite leisure activity of ballroom dance. I enjoy many types of dances & music from Latin to Smooth, blues, jazz, disco, etc. Need dance partners to help me slowly regain my confidence/skills on the dance floor and obtain the exercise/physical benefits as well. I had hoped to someday compete as an amateur, however, I haven't had the opportunity to practice/perform to achieve that goal. Have enjoyed going to weekend competitions as a spectator and also training workshops for west coast swing et al.
I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a single male dance partner available to meet up with me for all types of ballroom dancing. Let's start out with spending time on the dance floor getting comfortable with each other just social/class lesson dancing. Then, practicing/rehearsing exhibition routines that can be performed at charity fundraising type events (i.e. dinner dances) and studio/social/USAdance chapter functions or attending competitions/weekend workshops, dance studio lessons, etc. and sometimes traveling for dancing in other metro areas would be our shared passion.
The ideal partner's goals are to improve his skills and work on some choreographed routines he enjoys with me to use for exhibitions and possible competition entries.
