More About Me
Have been dancing ballroom (American style) intermittently for a few years, and finished Bronze IV in Dec 17. I move to Brisbane this month (Jan 18).
I currently dance predominantly smooth styles, but I'm looking to branch out a bit... So, if you dance W/T/F, quickstep, or Viennese already (or are a good follower) I'm looking for a partner!
Alternately, if you are interested in learning another style of dance somewhere in Brisbane, let me know! Argentine tango is high on my list, but I'm also going to look at some swing and bolero, and perhaps a few other Latin styles. Rock and Roll could also be interesting...
I'm Looking For
Dancing has this sneaky habit of being fun, so a dance partner who can have a laugh (frequently) is important. That said, I do have something of a technique focus - I would prefer to get a few things right, than dance many things 'ok'.
In terms of time commitment/frequency, I'm adaptable. I would happily dance multiple times a week, but if you're more time constrained, don't let that discourage you from saying hello. I will flag that I won't be in town 52 weeks a year. I travel periodically, sometimes for a few days, sometimes longer.
