More About Me
This site is very quiet compared to what it was before Covid, hope dancers re-discover it and contact each other!
I am passionate about dance, would do it professionally if I could! Health and fitness is very important to me since everything we can and hope to do hinges on our health - dance and fitness go together. I am strong without injuries or disabilities, so lifts, dips, drops, slides.....everything is possible, but always according to my partner's preference.
I maintained myself throughout covid and still know how to dance..... I work, and dance evenings and weekends during the summers but am completely free in the winters, and I like to cruise. It would be nice to find someone to practice with, and dance, on cruises. I'm going from Rome to Buenos Aires in November and possibly, from Buenos Aires to Venice in March 2024. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Argentine Tango - but I do most ballroom, latin and swing dances too.
May do a cruise over NYE in the Caribbean as well. I'm in NYC and Florida from time to time.
I'm Looking For
Most important is social compatibility. Most dance partnerships fail from taking mistakes too seriously, and arguing about them. I have no desire for upsets at any time. So I am looking for a female dance partner who has the same passion-verging-on-obsession for it that I do, who dances for the sheer joy of it, is able to laugh at mistakes ( and then work at fixing them jointly with a qualified teacher! ) and is serious about health and fitness. If there's space to dance and good music, I don't like to stop. A partner would also have to be fit and healthy to keep up. Smoking, heavy drinking, drugs.....no, no's.
