More About Me
This is my first online connection experience. In country-western, I'm told that my follow is like driving a car with power steering. I'm decent at ECS but would improve quickly if I had more opportunities to dance it. I'm newest to WCS, and it's my favorite, especially the bolder style that can be fun dancing to rock and roll. I appreciate the styling in soft WCS and want to improve. I'm open to performance or even competition if that's something you're interested in pursuing. I'm also open to learning the tango, Latin and salsa.
I like to be confident about a new dance/move before I'm asked to follow it in front of others. I put my best effort into every dance, but I dance because it's a fun way to connect. Unless we are performing or competing, I'm going to laugh off a missed step and just carry on.
The familiarity of a regular partner is great, but dancing with other people makes us both better dancers. I'm old-fashioned in that I will generally wait to be asked.

In WCS, I'm looking for someone who's OK with throwing in some of the flirtier stuff, and likes getting it back.
I've taught country-western two step a couple of times. The first time was a little scary but once I got over the stage fright, I loved it. I'd like to do future two-step teaching but for a couples dance, it really requires a partner (I'm a dreadful lead). I'm fine with a microphone and talking to a group of people, if you aren't.
