More About Me
I've danced Salsa and Merengue most of my life, but between family and friends, casually and not originally taught by a salsa/merengue instructors, just mom and dad. It has always been difficult for me to be lead because I have not had that formal base. So I've been taking some ballroom classes here and there to fill that gap. It has helped but the classes lasted only a few weeks and changed partners very often.
I am currently finding a growing passion for Tango. However, salsa is part of my heritage/culture and will be that way for my life so learning more formally would be welcome.
I'm Looking For
I am seeking someone with a willingness to be with a partner a bit higher than amachure/beginner but still a student learning salsa. Although I have had a few classes in tango, I would call myself a beginner and be willing to start from scratch if need be. Swing is fun and would love to try more there as well. (still not a lot of training there either but willing to start at basics)
