More About Me
So got pretty lucky in the rhythm department, come from parents that met on the dance floor, and since before i can remember i have been dancing. Started free style hip hop at 5 or 6, and by age 12 my Puerto Rican grandmother taught me old-school salsa, so partner dancing was introduced very early. My 20's were spent more trying to enter the hip-hop dance scene, and in 2007 was able to make the Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team, professional hip hop dance team that performs at all home games and outside gigs as well. During the same time i was dancing social salsa on a weekly basis but nothing to series. With 2 decades of my life working in the restaurant industry and stepping back from dance, life has a funny way of working and for the past year of my life i have been working full time at a dance studio in Cleveland Oh. I currently have 2 weekly group classes, i teach off site at a retirement home, my oldest student is 93 :), i teach at a disadvantage site center, which is amazing, and also have 4-5 private students i see on a weekly basis. I also fell in into the latin dj scene where I dj 1-2 times a month at the studio and i have a weekly Bachata event at local Cleveland bar. I love music, for me its how a breath, and now i have the opportunity to make this my career for a long time .
I'm Looking For
Starting a new fusion in Bachata and hip-hop , it may sound a little crazy but i assure you i'am working on something special. Looking for a partner that wants to focus on Bachata, Salsa, Hip-Hop, a little Kizomba. Really looking for a partner that loves music and loves that connection between yourself and the sounds you are receiving, and hopefully we can have that same connection. Want 4-5 days a week, at the point where i need to dance everyday and want to dance everyday.
