I'm Looking For
I have been around dancing since 2010 as I encouraged my kids to dance and learn dancing Latin/Standard as well as some contemporary and Ballet) My kids participated in some competitions that was held in Sri Lanka (which is once a year) and won!!
I love dancing and have loved it since a young child. I started dancing in 2016 and have made quite a bit of progress (to my surprise) I am a fast learner and loving it. I am not sure if I am the competition material or even is I am in that standard, but all I know is that I love to dance and enjoy it very very much and would love to find a partner who love dancing (mostly socially) as much as I do.Currently I am learning Bronze level Standard and Latin (international styles)
I am go dancing socially 1-3 times a week. My fav is the Waltz, Quickstep and Tango. But I also love : Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba as well as had the privilege of learning some basic Argentine Tango (Looooved it)..
So there it is, I am no professional dancer. I just started Bronze level in October 2017 and wish to continue and better myself. I am mostly interested in Social dancing. I attend Gala Balls, Dinner Dances and any event that involves any type of dancing (even weekly social dance gatherings) The idea is to have fun and enjoy.
I am interested mostly in social events. but now I might be open go even dance in a competitive level (if that happen to come my way) i might be interested as I have already had a few men/partners approaching me for same. I was not interested as I was sure we were not compatible in many ways and I wasn't ready. Now that I started Bronze level (completed beginner and intermediate levels) I am now open for more than I was a few months ago.
I would love to meet a partner who loves to dance and enjoy dancing as much as I do. enjoying dancing and having fun being the main focus, I am open to where dance might take me.... If we enjoy each others company and end up spending more time together, that will be a bonus, but not the main focus. Dancing is the most important thing for me here and making a great connection and meeting like-minded people and making friends will be great too...
