More About Me
I did ballroom dancing in high school. I took up East Coast Swing, some social ballroom and Country 2-step up again From about 35-45 for about 10 years dancing several times a week. I was in a Swing Performance group during that time. I took about 15 years off and started dancing again about a year ago on a ballroom formation team. We practice once or twice a week and I social dance an average of one time per week. I cannot afford to take private lessons but occasionally take group classes. My skills are very uneven but I want to improve them and maybe compete a little for fun.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for someone who is considered an intermediate leader and looking to improve. Someone who may have a bit of a competitive streak but is mostly in it for fun. A leader to occasionally go social dancing as well as practice together perhaps enrolling in group classes and then practicing between. I would prefer someone from the lgbqt community/allies that is also willing to go to straight venues to increase dance opportunities if necessary.
