I have been dancing Argentine Tango for about 6 years. I came from a ballroom background, tried Argentine Tango on a whim and found it difficult, challenging, and frustrating. However, I kept being drawn back to tango until I finally gave into it. When I first started tango I remember someone telling me that it takes a lifetime to learn. I thought that sounded silly. But now, the longer I dance tango, the truer that statement becomes. The more I learn in tango, the more I see that I have so much more to learn.
I'm Looking For
I hope to find in a partner someone who wants to continue to grow and learn the subtleties of Argentine Tango. Someone who sees a plateau as a challenge to get to the next level. Someone who doesn’t mind continuing to improve the basics of the dance to help in the move forward.
