More About Me
Dance and I go way back. Ive done a bit of everything over the years, from ballet to ballroom to belly dancing, as well as getting out to clubs to learn salsa, line dancing, two-stepping, etc. and then eventually I taught private lessons at the studio where I’d been a student. My talent and area of expertise with dance has really been more contemporary/freestyle, single and in pairs, dedicating over 15 years to perfecting dance and workouts on a pole and teaching lessons. I even built a home studio to be able to work out and dance whenever I want. However, a serious head trauma over a year ago took a lot from me, and there are many things I know I love still that I need to relearn, and I am desperate to find myself on the dance floor again. By nature, I’m a writer. Both my hobby and profession are technically in aviation. I am crazy about my dogs, music, and Doctor Who...I love to travel, ride my horse, go on random road trips, and of course, dance.
I have a hereditary disorder called EDS, which is essentially joint hyper-mobility—I am flexible and bendy in ways that would snap the average person’s bones, which can be both insanely impressive and astonishingly painful. EDS dictates that I stay in motion and constantly push my body to stay as fluid as possible. That said, I simply ask that my potential partner have a basic understanding of how far I need to push myself sometimes. For example, I never would have thought to do pole work so intensively if I hadn’t needed to move beyond basic ballroom framework and into something that would be a more demanding challenge and priceless benefit to my joints. The more active I am, the more creative I can be in the studio/on the dance floor.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who thinks this is a unique challenge that they’d like to take a chance on.

I'm Looking For
Seeking a confident and kind make partner to lead...would really prefer someone 35+, no limit on age if you’re a great match. I need to partner with someone who is patient and open to crazy, new ideas. Even though I’m relearning a lot of things regarding body movement, I’m smart, I’m quick, I’m forgiving, and I’m reliable; not the worst partner to invest time in. I’m hoping to connect with a partner open to competing and definitely a consistent practice schedule. Not interested in a romantic relationship; just someone who has the same pressing need that I do to learn, dance, and build a dedicated partnership in which I can feel free to be myself. CIncinnati area preferred, will consider other cities and possibly relocating for the perfect partnership at some point. I’m completely new to searching for a dance partner this way, so please feel free to offer any guidance. I swear I’m not nearly as dull as I’m making myself sound.
