More About Me
I ma from the South of Brazil and I've danced since I was 4 years old. I started with classic Ballet and danced all styles possible. I started partner dancing because I loved Brazilian forró and then did some training and performance in my early 20's with Samba de Gafieira, Salsa, and Bolero. I danced all Latin styles. I stopped dancing for a few years and then found my passion again with Argentinian Tango in 2015. From tango, I started to explore the art of connection and improvisation, mixing different styles techniques in the same dance. But unfortunately I did not have many chances to continuing to dance while living in Australia. I recently moved to Tulum, in Mexico.
I'm Looking For
I would love to find a male/female dance partner who is open and wants to have fun exploring different possibilities in partner dancing, in a very respectful and trustful way. I would like to practice shared leadership and a bit of contact and improvisation. I find it so beautiful when the dance is so fluid that we cannot even tell who is leading who :) I love to practice structures and techniques, but then eventually mixing them with more of a freestyle dance. I find it important to learn and practice both leadership and following roles, just like in life, men and women are capable of doing both and its an art when we can express in both ways.
