More About Me
Partner dancing for 26+ years. I am most comfortable with East Coast, Blues, Rockabilly and West Coast. My lead is confident and I enjoy following as well. Accentuating the music in rhythmic tandem is clutch. If you like singing along to good lyrics then that is a bonus. My favourite artists for dancing are Michael Buble', Ricki Lee Jones, Indigo Swing, Suzie Quatro, Chris Isaac, Lake Street Dive, Johnny Boyd, Amy LaVere and a lot more. Dancing to live music is beautiful! Dancing to Huey Lewis, George Thorogood, Paul Revere, B52s, Flogging Molly and Betty Fox Band are the most memorable times. I enjoy local bands and love Skipper's for Rockabilly Ruckus, Little Shebas and Red Elvises.
I'm Looking For
We have a great dance community and a couple of fun venues weekly but I would actually like to spend some time practicing with a partner, not at the dance. That is for non-stop dancing . But I cannot memorize standardized steps, choreography nor practice without music. I am looking for a partner who wants to rock, groove and improve.
