More About Me
I have been taking On-2 lessons for almost a year, and I have also been learning Salsa Caleña, and Pachanga. I enjoy dancing immensely, and I want to continue to progress at it. I want to do more social dancing, and I may also be interested in performance in the future. Right now, I'm taking lessons at 3 different studios, learning more shines, techniques for effective following, and the anatomy of and different rhythms in salsa music. Soon, I will also be taking up private lessons for Salsa. As far as music preferences, I really like the older style of music. Some of my favorite songs are Lo Atará La Arache- Ricardo Ritche Ray, La Casa - Orlando Martin and Orchestra,
Cali Pachanguero - Grupo Niche, Merecumbe - Johnny Colon, Bronx Pachanga - Charlie Palmieri, Pachanga Miramar - El Sexteto, Miramar, A La Seis - Joe Cuba Sextet. As far as other styles, I also enjoy dancing and am interested in getting better at Cumbia, Cumbia de Monterrey, and Traditional/Dominican Bachata.
I'm Looking For
I would like a dance partner who is interested in becoming excellent in On-2/On-1, Pachanga, and Columbian styles. I would like someone to go social dancing with as our schedules allow, but also someone who is interested in getting to a level where we could do performance.
