Ballet < Modern Jazz < Contemporary < Hip hop < Salsa, bachata, merengue < Middle Eastern < Tango < Tap dance, ballroom, performances? :)
I like to have my feets are on the floor; not necessarly to be "upside down" (this is a dedicated messages to Russia/Ukrainian dancers ;))
That being said, i don't like spinning more than 3 times... especially if you offered me a Temescal/Tequila drink before (and i was too shy to decline)... this is a dedicated messages to Latino/Brazilian dancers...
I like to have moments of togetherness and alone freestyle, when the "drums" are playing... this is a message for African dancers/musicians/artists.
Last but not least, I have extensive trainings (200+hours) in various alternative styles: Gagalabs in Tel Aviv, Ecstatic Dance in California but also more formal trainings in Broadway Dancer Center (NYC) or Millenium center (LA) or even Studio Harmonic/Marais (Paris). Despite this formal training, i have done large "Socials" in Australia, Texas, Puerto Rico, California, Florida...but i swear i never danced Latin in Indonesia and I am "dubitative" about Kizomba.
Until i find my DREAM partner, I will most likely end up "choosing" TANGO and TAP DANCE to avoid "too-many-latin-socials" that are not helping me pursuing my goals (exception to Middle Eastern folks) ^_^
I'm Looking For
social media savvy, looking to add dance in existing portfolios of other business pursuits. I don't need (nor do) any acrobatic (even tough i'm light weight) but it's up to the dance partner to decide if "acrobatics" are in fact needed moving forward or not...
I don't discriminate in height or weight... but taller men "could" lift me up upside down... yet, have a hard time spinning me; while shorter men can spin me (but i would not try any acrobatics with them). SO WHERE DOES THE WIND BLOW?
Must be willing to dance for performance and competition, not just with socials-that-never-ends... Must be willing to have a schedule. I can compromise with mine but clarity is very much appreciated. Must not be a heavy drinker... or else, dance performance will quickly turn into "circus comedy or stand up". Substance use should be very limited to a very strict schedule as well. Not too much "free flow".
Even if you don't qualify to all of this, you are encouraged "to apply"
