More About Me
Some friends convinced me to go to a country bar (The Little Red Hen) with them. I was hesitant because I'm not really into country music but they said it would be fun. Scott McKay was teaching a beginner Country 2-step and I told him I didn't know one step of it but he said no problem so I jumped in, had a great time and from there started seeking out more opportunity to learn. I fell in love with Viennese waltz, Salsa and Bachata but my true love came from a video I watched of PJ Turner and Tashina Beckmann doing a Jack and Jill in West Coast Swing. From there on WCS is my favorite.
I'm Looking For
I would like to go to the WCS competitions and just jump in for fun. I'm not looking to win any titles or awards. Rather, the competitions and the preparation for them is a way for me to really level up and explore new patterns. I need a steady dance partner to practice with and hopefully go to the competitions. I just finished one in Vienna (I also did some waltz there) and had a blast with the international WCS community (PJ Turner was there!).
