More About Me
Hi, my name is Nayan and I started Ballroom in the fall of 2025 as part of the University of Arizona Ballroom Club (Wildcat Dancesports) and have absolutely fallen in love with it ever since. I specifically love doing Standard but can also do Latin, Rhythm, and Smooth. My primary goal is to get better at Standard, and I want to reach the level of Open by Spring 2027.
For training, I usually practice daily for at least 4 hours, so I hope you can handle long practices. I do weekly group lessons and workshops with professional coaches through my club, plus I have regular private lessons with my coach. I've been picking up Latin this semester, and I've built my Standard foundation mostly through those private lessons. Since the Fall 2025 semester, I have competed at multiple collegiates (Solar Flare, Claremont) at the bronze level and won Smooth and Rhythm rounds.
I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a passionate follow who loves Ballroom dancing as much as I do and is willing to commit to training a lot. My ideal partner would be someone who's ready to train together daily and can handle those 4-hour practice sessions.
I'd love to find someone who's either at bronze level or higher willing to work with me, since my goal is to reach Open by Spring 2027. I'm most focused on International Standard, so ideally someone who share that passion would be great, but I'm also happy to work on Latin with you if you can do Standard with me.
I want a partner who's excited about competing and who I can build great chemistry with on the dance floor. Most importantly, someone who's friendly, communicative, and ready to have fun while working hard together.
