Amateur Ballroom Competition Partner Wanted
I’m a middle aged female, 5’4”, based in Pleasant Hill in the East Bay, looking for a committed amateur male ballroom partner.
I’ve fallen in love with ballroom dancing and would like to train and compete in amateur competitions. I’m especially interested in American Smooth and American Rhythm, but I’m open to learning and growing together.
I’ve been ballroom dancing on and off for about 20 years. I have never had a steady partner. I’m interested in competing in Bronze and open to Silver. I’ve had dance training since my teenage years and I feel I can advance quickly through practice.

I’m looking for someone who:
Wants to compete as an amateur (not pro-am)
* Is reliable and enjoys practicing 2–3 times per week
* Has a positive attitude and is committed to improving
* Is interested in a long-term dance partnership
* Is comfortable dancing with a 5’4” follow
I’m less concerned about age than I am about dedication, kindness, and a willingness to work as a team. Whether you’re newer to competition or already have some experience, I’d love to meet, practice, and see if we’re a good match.
