More About Me
Hello! I grew up training mainly in ballet, contemporary, lyrical/modern, and several folk dances. I started ballroom training about 3 years ago, but progressed quickly as I've made my way through BYU's intensive ballroom program. I've competed novice, pre-champ, and amateur international latin/ballroom, american rhythm, and american smooth. I also have some cabaret experience, and completed through gold bar medals exams with high gold. I can teach social dance as well. I absolutely LOVE everything about dancing, and it has been a huge form of healing in my life. Though I love all styles and am open to competing all of them, my favorite is definitely american smooth. I plan to compete professionally, and am looking for a partner to pursue that with. I incorporate a lot of biomechanics, strength/weight training, cardio, boxing, and a variety of other movement into my training as a whole. I am very interested in dance and movement therapy, and plan to open my own studio someday that teaches dance in a healthy, supportive, encouraging, and healing way.

I am looking for a long term partner who is kind, dedicated, and supportive. Someone who's willing to stick with me through the hard times, and work together to grow and change. I have a deep passion for dancing, and I want somebody who shares that with me. I believe in delving into the depths of technique, connection, and truly feeling when I dance. I don't want it to be stiff with perfectionism and self doubt. I'm looking for someone to dance professionally with, who is dedicated and a hard worker. I believe that dancing can be extremely healing, and I want to dance to make people FEEL something. I dance to express every part of me, and I want the people watching to be able to see my movement, and feel like a part of themselves has been validated and expressed.
