More About Me
Hi everyone! I’m 25 and a UCF second-degree student studying Astrophotonics Physics (Astronomy + Photonics/Optics). I’m looking to connect with someone interested in eventually building a serious, long-term Amateur/Amateur International 10-Dance partnership.
I had some exposure to International Ballroom and Latin as a kid through a ballet/competitive dance studio, but it was primarily studio/dance training rather than competitive Ballroom. I didn’t start taking Ballroom seriously until about 3 years ago, and I’ve now been competing for 2 years.
I’ve competed at USA Dance Nationals twice, along with several smaller competitions, including Southeastern. I also compete in Country Ballroom on the UCWDC circuit, including two formation-team competitions, one competition as a couple with my current Country partner, and UCWDC 2026 Worlds with my formation team.
My main goal is International 10-Dance. I’m currently training/competing around the Bronze/E–Silver/D range, with Latin currently stronger than Standard, and I’m actively working toward the higher levels. I also enjoy American Smooth on the side.
My training in Orlando has involved a mix of independent coaching, university Ballroom, studio classes, workshops, and competition opportunities, so I’ve also become very self-directed with my training. I’ve built up a large library of ISTD/WDSF syllabus material, 10-Dance routines, workshops, masterclasses, and competition footage, and I’m very comfortable putting in the work between lessons.
