There was a 30 year period in my life that went undanced due to the committments of family and career. Now I'm making up for lost time.

I do not want an exclusive partnership, but I would like a partner who would enjoy working as a team to acquire new skills. Perhaps what I have in mind is more of a loose alliance than a strict partnership, but definitely something ongoing, semi-regular, and committed to mutual improvement of our dance skills.
Ideally you would be an experienced tanguera, but I'm willing to consider a fast learner. You value the dialogue of lead/follow more than the accumulation of memorized steps. You appreciate that dancing the silence of a rest is as significant as dancing the rhythm of the beat.
I'm not looking for an acrobat, so you don't need to do leaps, jumps and flips. Instead you are someone who enjoys exploring the infinite variety of combinations possible in Argentine tango using a good connection and clear communication; someone who likes to explore variations on a theme; someone who understands that practise makes perfect. In other words someone who enjoys the process of learning and discovering, as well as the joy of expressing music through motion.
