Ballroom dancing is my biggest passion. I am very athletic, motivated & energetic. I have been told I am a great follower. :)
We recently moved to Tampa, and I’d love to get back into ballroom dancing and WCS. Would like to find a partner to practice with and/or ballroom or WCS places.
My old description, when I lived in CA:
I started dancing when I was six, with most focus on competitive dancing when I lived in California. I was taking private lessons from my fellow Lithuanians Tomas Atkocevicius and Aira Bubnelyte in Int. Standard. In Int. Latin, I have taken privates from Steve Vasco, and would like to take from Jurga or Vaidas (more Lithuanians! ;).
Recently I have been competing at the Pre-Champ level and placed in top three positions in the local competitions. With the right partner, I would like to move to the Championship level in Int. Standard soon.
Since September 2009 I have taken a break from the competitive ballroom (mostly because I could not find a partner in SF, but for other reasons as well).
I'm Looking For
Dance partner who is truly passionate about ballroom dancing and has a great potential. A guy who has a good music sense and enjoys dancing. Somebody who would like to compete and practice regularly.
I am looking for a partner with a positive personality, focused on improvement in dancing and someone with a competitive spirit.
I am looking for an Int. Standard partner at a Pre-Champ (or Champ, well I need some catching up for that ;) level. I would also like to find a Latin partner at a Novice or Pre-Champ level.
I would like to practice anywhere in SF Bay Area (ideally, Santa Cruz!) 3-4 times or more a week for 1-2 hours per session.
