More About Me
I moved to CA from WI in 2002 order to be closer to my Standard coaches, Victor and Heather Veyrasset, and am currently being coached primarily by Victor. In terms of dance, my passion is clearly Standard, but sometimes I also play around with some other stuff just for fun socially: some Latin, ECS, WCS, Salsa, Hustle, NC2S, etc. I am interested in having a partner who is either a pro or an amateur; I just want to dance and experience the intrinsic bliss of masculinity, femininity, musicality, and movement entering into a blissfully resonating oneness. I am open to competing Rising Star or to having an amateur partner and competing pro/am with her. I am also open to not competing at all and just practicing and dancing socially together or in shows, though I would prefer someone who wants to be serious enough to work toward mastering standard and maximizing both beautiful and blissful movement.
I'm Looking For
I'm in search of a 5'2"-5'5" (might consider up to 5'6" if other things are right) woman who loves Standard and is what I call a "mover", that is, a woman who really can--or at least really desires to be able to (which may be enough)--move her own body quickly in response to a quality lead. I'm also deeply desirous that she truly loves to genuinely follow as much as I long to lead with excellence. Hopefully she will have a view of dance similar to my own view described in the "More About Me" section above.
