More About Me
A hopeless outdoorsy romantic who unwittingly fell in love with Contra dancing 18yrs ago (still my favorite dance).
I also love 14 other ballroom & swing dances--& have been a dance class junkie the last 12yrs (mostly West Coast Swing). I usually take 1-2 group dance lessons 4 nites/wk--followed by 1-3hrs of social dancing. Plus one private lesson with champion instructor the last few months.
Also take lots of classes at 3-5 WCS conventions per yr, plus 5-7 Contra festivals, & one Country wkend. Dance wkends are usually my favorite times of the year. Almost forgot: it's great fun dancing to live music at Blues clubs & other venues 1-3x/month.
Other interests: bicycling (tandem, mtn, road, touring), hiking, traveling, musical & dance performances, movies, plus public TV/radio. Am a politically liberal Unitarian who is very respectful of the views of others.
