More About Me
I have been social dancing for many years, but only sporadically, so I consider myself a quick-learning beginner, or beginning-intermediate, because I do not practice as often as I'd like. I am interested in any and all styles of partner dancing. I currently favor East Coast Swing & lindy, bachata, cha cha, hustle, Nightclub Two-Step, waltz, and foxtrot but I want to learn more and improve my current dances.
I would like to be able to commit to a regular practice schedule, but my work does not allow regular schedules of any kind. I can, however, say that I want to dance as often as possible.
I'm Looking For
I am looking for male dance partners in any style who are either better than I am and are willing to help me improve, or at a beginning skill level who want a partner to improve with (but not absolutely brand new, because I am not good enough to teach past the intro lesson). You don't have to know all the same dances I do, so it's OK to be "brand new" at *something*, I just don't want a never-danced-before partner because I'm trying to improve my own dancing skills, so I need partners who are at my level or higher to improve with.
I am also looking for a dating partner. I am also interested in meeting dancers who enjoy social dance activities and would be willing to go to swing, latin, ballroom, country or popular nightclubs with groups of friends.
I also have a special demonstration/performance project in mind for the right partner. This partner must be a strong lead in *something* and be willing to take lessons with me as a partner in bachata sensual, Argentine tanto, and blues even if you already know it (to foster a strong partnership as a dance couple), and be open to some other alternative, non-dance workshops that I can describe if we meet and have the right floor chemistry.
Since I cannot commit to any regular dance schedule, any prospective partners are welcome to have other dance partners other than myself. I'm looking to improve and enjoy social dancing with other partner dancers.
