More About Me
I am thinking about moving to Florida, so if you have some thoughts about dancing in Florida, or living there year round, let me know. The other places I am considering are North Carolina and South Carolina, maybe Charlotte. My hope would be to find a place with year round moderate weather, (Not much snow and ice, but not real warm either.), that has a lot of Social Ballroom Dancing.
I am now retired, and looking for partners who would like to meet me at one of the many area Tea Dances that are done during the day. I also like to try new places, so let me know if there is a place to dance, (Daytime or evening.), that you would like to try out.

"Smooth", "Good Leader", "Exciting" and "Fun" are the words I hear most when partners compliment my dancing.
I am a very good leader. I can lead many newer lady dancers through some fairly advanced patterns and figures. I often have partners who comment that I was the first man to lead them through a figure that they had been trying to learn for quite some time.
I dance to have fun. I want my partners to enjoy their time on the floor with me, as much as I enjoy my time on the floor with them.
Social Ballroom Dancing is, or at least it should be, "Friendship set to music".
It isn't about trying to be perfect. Dancing is about playing well together, and taking good care of each other on the dance floor. What could be better than when a man and a woman, unselfishly work together for the common good?
I am a "Social Dancer", which means that I accept full responsibility for leading my partners well. If something goes wrong, it is always the man's fault. (If I had led it a little bit better, it might have worked.)
I will pay full time and attention to you when we dance. It is impossible to lead well without making your partner the most important woman in the world. (For three short minutes, it will be, "All about you"!)
If you want to play, and have fun, and act like a couple of silly five-year-old children, why not save me a dance?
I'm Looking For
Someone pleasant, who would allow me the privilege of leading her around the dance floor. Most importantly, you must be able to give me a heartfelt smile when we finish dancing. If your eyes sparkle when we dance, you can own me. (For two or three minutes on the dance floor anyway.)
Can you give your heart and soul to the dance? Do you absolutely love dancing? Does the dance take you on a journey to some beautiful place deep in your heart? If so, we have something special to share.
If you want to play, flirt, act silly, and have lots of fun dancing with a foolish man, you have what I am looking for in a dance partner.

PS--- About age,,, A women's age isn't important when it comes to dancing, (As long as she is healthy, and can move across the dance floor.), but I would prefer a women over 60 when it comes to dating. The age question is challenging because I often dance with young women who can't keep up, and I also dance with women in their seventies who have no trouble keeping up.
