More About Me
Hello, I have been away from dancing for nearly 15 years now. Thats not to say I have not danced when out somewhere, but to go out and really enjoy dancing is something that has been absent. I first started dancing as a freshman in high school at a local Fred Astaire dance studio. I was actually offered a job teaching there but turned it down. Instead, I ended up training with the owner of another studio and her partner, here in Louisville, for the purpose of competing. I trained with them for the next 6 years and competed in, and won, several small competitions that were held in Louisville and Ohio. I was also a member of USABDA and did several exhibitions and would like to get involved again. Dancing is something that I do really enjoy and have missed. Here lately I have been teaching group lessons from time to time which does help to keep me actively dancing and I was recently asked to dance at a charity ball with a "Disco" theme. This event was a lot of fun but would have been better if I had a formal partner.
I also attend the Salsa and swing events here in Louisville from time to time.

I'm Looking For
I would like to meet someone who is interested in dancing socially as well as possibly competing. I am not to concerned with my potential partners dance ability. Most of us on this site have some dance background whether it be a beginner who knows the basic steps and has a good foundation to build on, to someone who is ready to conquer the Ohio Star Ball.
