More About Me
I'm a nutritionist in Boca Raton, and busy with work-related activities, teaching/lectures, conferences, etc. I don't have near the time for dancing I would like, however, I'd re-arrange some stuff if I had a partner with whom to share. I became enamored of Hustle in the late '70's and started my ballroom training with Fred Astaire in 1982. I dance at the silver+ level, took private lessons in Int'l Std with Michael Neil, Alec Lazo, Sasha Givency. I also studied Argentine Tango with Jerry Perez before they moved to California. I've fallen in love with Arg.Tango and love the connection energy and passion of this dance. Taking standard group class with teachers Paolo n Liene diLorenzo from New Jersey who have relocated here. Performed pro-am in the 2008, 09, 10 Dec showcases; and on the GoldCoast Formation team 2011, 12, 13,14 and 15.
I'm Looking For
I'm excited to find a partner/dance companion who shares my love of dancing and would enjoy attending occasional dance events such as bi-annual comps, dance workshop weekends, IHSC, USBC, and possibly take classes together, esp. Argentine Tango (and go to milongas). I'm a good natural follow and learn quickly. If you're primarily interested in Int'l Std, that'd be AMAZING. My best dance is Waltz, my worst is west coast swing. I've been doing Hustle since summer of '78 and it will always be one of my favorites. I would enjoy someone to be my partner for the special GoldCoast and amateur USA Dance events, having someone to actually perform with is a dream. If the chemistry works, I'd be open to considering amateur competition. Thanks for looking and happy dancing!.
