More About Me
I have been dancing ballroom competitively over the past 13 years, and am competing at the prechamp/champ. I have been focusing mainly on the American styles in recent years, but have competed in all 19 competitive ballroom dances across Standard, Smooth, Rhythm, and Latin.
My goal is to compete nationally in Rhythm/Smooth at the amateur championship level, with the potential of moving into professional rising star with the right partner (with a preference for focus on Rhythm, if not both). I am also open to/considering the possibility of moving into teaching dance as well. I currently live in Boston, MA, but will be relocating to Memphis in July 2022, where I plan on living for the next few years minimum.
I hope for a partnership where we I can be friends with my partner in addition to just being dance partners, and where we first and foremost look for dancing to be a fun experience. I believe that enjoying the process is the key to success.
I'm Looking For
I'd like to practice with someone who takes dance seriously, and wants to improve and be successful at the gold level and beyond. Again, dance is a hobby for me, and I want it to be an enjoyable experience for both me and my partner. As such, I would love to have a partner situation where practice and lessons are things we look forward to, and enjoy, rather than it feeling like work. The work will be there, but should be something that we both look forward to week in and week out.
