More About Me
I am blessed with natural rhythm (and easy, hypnotic hip action). Began ballroom dancing at age 10. As a teen growing up in Detroit in the mid-late 60's, I honed my soulful dance style to the hip Motown Sound. Moving to Boulder CO in the 70's, I began teaching Tap dance, slow dancing, African dance, and "Afrobics" in the 80's.
Ah, so long ago...still feel like a 20 yr old when I'm dancing!
I love an audience and am at my best when partner dancing in public.
Competition is not my thing, but Performance, yes!
In the last several years I've been learning to lead, especially in Rueda de Casino (salsa). I believe every dancer should know how to lead and follow...makes us better dancers with more compassion for each others' roles...
