More About Me
I've been dancing for about 25 years, various styles. My current main interest is standard international training. Round dancing - choreographed and cued ballroom - is popular in this area, so I do a lot of that. I prefer "ballroom" to "Latin" dance styles. My favorite dance is waltz. Next are quickstep and Viennese waltz. I know music well, and indeed do have great rhythm. This year I completed the basic and next level courses in Ballroom Mastery Academy. I am currently studying with an instructor who specializes in lead and follow in partner dancing. I have set aside a 16 x 20 foot dance floor in my current house for personal dance practice, and hope to be in a larger house with a larger dance area soon. My long-term goal is to compete nationally in international standard ballroom.
