More About Me
I grew up in ballet and modern classes, and I discovered swing and ballroom late in my teens. I started partner dancing at Arthur Murray, advancing to the "gold" level. Although I got my start in ballroom, I found I preferred the less rigid style and the creativity of the Lindy scene, and I began social dancing several nights a week in my late teens/early twenties. I taught and occasionally competed from 1999 to 2003, first in San Diego, then in London, and then back in San Diego/LA. I placed 2nd in Strictly Lindy at the American Lindy Hop Championships in 2000. I enjoy lindy, balboa, shag, and other vintage dances. I've only danced occasionally over the last decade, but I'm interested in getting back into it. While I am primarily a lindy hopper, I do some west coast swing and tango and would like to improve my knowledge in those dances as well.

I'm Looking For
A fun, easy-going, advanced swing dancer. It would be great if you also do some Argentine Tango. I'd like someone to practice with once or twice a week, preferably in the East Bay. I am mostly interested in social dancing, but I may be open to teaching or competing again eventually.
