More About Me
Athletic and enthusiastic, I am devoted to study and daily practice. Am currently training and competing with a professional partner (Gianni Caliandro) in Standard at the open gold and beyond level. As a former elite level distance runner, I love the challenge of dancing at a high level. Fitness is very important to me. Have studied some jazz and modern as a supplement to Ballroom. Enjoy occasional club dancing as a means of staying connected to feeling the music and being a sensitive follower. Plus I love improvisation! I taught international standard and Latin at the bronze level at Johns Hopkins ballroom club. Learning the lead with all its specifications has been helpful to improve my follow as well. Have made the finals in elite competitions like Embassy, Blackpool and the Dutch Open. Am continuing to advance at a rapid pace. Currently receiving coaching from Stephen Hannah, Massimo Giorgianni, Chris Hawkins, Paul Huston and others at the international level.
I'm Looking For
A disciplined and enthusiastic partner devoted to improving fundamentals to master both syllabus and advanced figures in international standard. Must be committed to regular practice, regular high level lessons and monthly coaching. Would like to compete regularly both in the US and abroad. Am open to traveling up to an hour or two to practice. Partner must be committed to his own private instruction as well as shared coaching.
