More About Me
I gotta dance. It gives me fulfillment and tranquility. My former second wife and I learned to dance together. For our wedding we danced down the aisle with a waltz and danced back out in country western style. One reason for our friendly divorce (We went dancing the night it was final)was her loss of interest in a serious commitment to dancing. I am taking lessons and giving lessons. Because I don't have a regular and comparable partner I can't take full advantage of all the dance I've learned.
I am a former Baptist minister who preached against dancing and now I'm doing it. I'm sorry I discovered so late in life my natural inclination for dance. I'm trying to make up for that lost time. I desperately need a compatible partner to help me do that.
At 79 I am very healthy and moderately physically fit. I'm reveling in my life and bursting with life. I am still working full time. Also at 79 I have worked through all the religious and romantic issues and am very comfortable as a single, stand alone guy. I just want to dance with a partner who loves dance, has a good aptitude for ballroom dancing, and is seeking to perfect her dance.
One outlet that would be interesting to try with a dance partner as a team is to do demo dances at nursing and retirement facilities. They are always looking for free programming and this would be great experience and useful service for my dance partner and I.
One dance routine for this purpose is the Tango danced to Goldfinger.
As Frank sings it, "Come on, and Dance with Me".
I have local REFERENCES from several past partners and lady friends.
I'm Looking For
I would like one who enjoys learning and practicing dance to be fully prepared to go social dancing with style. I am now at the silver waltz and foxtrot level and need lots of practice with someone for this.
