More About Me
I have lived and traveled to many parts of the United States, and been fortunate to have been exposed to lots of different ways people express themselves in those dance communities. It has inspired and pushed me to grow as an individual.
I have experience in Ballet, Smooth, Rhythm, and have spent a few years working on Silver International Latin with Kora Stoynova and Simeon Stoynov. -Dabbled in Breakin', Tap, Modern, and Freestyle. I am a strong Bachata, Salsa, and West Coast Swing dancer after studying and dancing it daily for years in Washington. I have been to many dance congresses and festivals to further my knowledge. Recently, I've been interested in adding Club styling to International Latin and International Latin to the Club Styles. Beyond the formal learning, I have lived a life with a great deal of hardship as well as joy, giving me a large range of emotions to draw upon and connect with.
I have apprenticed at an Arthur Murray school, studied with coaches, and worked at an independent studio. I earned DVIDA Jr. Associate ballroom credentials and Bronze West Coast Swing and Merengue certificates in teaching, but dance at a higher level. I have taught group classes and privates, but primarily have worked the business side of a dance studio. I would like to develop a professional partnership as I have time to devote to meal prep, study, practice, and working out. I am most interested in dancing West Coast Swing, Salsa, Bachata, and International Latin, but enjoy dancing in general and believe all dance styles enhance each other.
I very much want to further develop my dancing with a partner as well as a career in the dance industry. I am open to your interests, thoughts, and inquiries. Thanks for reading!

Dance Goals:
I'm a very cross-trained dancer. I would love to work on Salsa, Bachata, or West Coast Swing to develop dance skills more, teach workshops, or perform at congresses, festivals, or events. For ballroom, I'm most interested in performing International Latin, but would enjoy preparing for competition if this was something a partner sought. Personally, it is more important to me to improve my dancing than to try to win trophies though. I approach my dancing and learning very seriously, but also believe that the ability to exist in the moment is key to dancing well, something I know social dancing develops and is often discounted for. I am more interested in art and being around good people than competition.
Academic Goals (not all need to be shared, but I am interested in pursuing the following):
- complete ISTD bronze and silver international latin certification
- complete salsa bronze certification
- further develop choreography skills
- ballet and yoga conditioning
