More About Me
I took my first ballroom dance classes at 14, and then danced socially off and on for about 9 years before beginning serious training to become a dance instructor. I was part of a Lindy Hop club and Ballroom & Latin Club in college. During the last two and half years, I have intensively studied the Full Bronze DVIDA American syllabus for 17 different dances. I've also studied some International and Standard. In 2016, I began teaching dance professionally. Now that I'm focusing on the Silver syllabus (I am currently full Silver in Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, and East Coast Swing, and quickly learning more) it's become increasingly important to have a dance partner of a similar level to practice technique and help each other grow. My primary goal is to become as excellent of a dancer as I can possibly be, with as many dances as possible. I enjoy performing showcases, as well as social dancing!
I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a friendly, similarly skilled partner who is precise-but-easy-going and looking to hone our technique and learn together! I'm looking for a nearby partner who might be able to dance during the day on weekdays. My hope would be to practice together 1-2 times per week, but I'm open to more if the schedule works out!
