More About Me
I have danced competitively with the Carnegie Mellon University ballroom dance team for about 7 years. I primarily enjoy the International Standard and American Smooth styles, though I also have experience in International Latin and a couple years of social styles such as West Coast Swing and Bachata. I'm a working professional (engineer) in the Pittsburgh area, and while I still consider dance a hobby it is the once I invest large amounts of time in and continue to strive to improve in.
I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a follower in the Pittsburgh area to compete in Standard and/or Smooth styles, with a goal of starting or rapidly working towards competing in open divisions (at least relative to collegiate levels). My ideal partner is one who is patient and willing to work as a team towards improvement; one who can also be my friend instead of strictly a "professional" highly impersonal partnership.
